Former Enron bosses
Ken Lay and Jeffrey Skilling have both been found guilty on fraud, conspiracy and other
charges. “We
fought the good fight. Some things work, some things don’t. Obviously I
am disappointed but that’s the way the system works,” Skilling told
reporters outside the court after the verdict.

New Library for 92103 After many years of planning, meeting with the city and waiting, a new branch library for Mission Hills-Hillcrest is being planned at this site on Washington Street (at Front). The city purchased the lot (formerly the IBEW building) in September 2003. The city, architects, library staff and the Friends of the Mission Hills-Hillcrest Branch Library are in the process of designing a new 15,000 square foot building. Read more online. |
