A year’s worth of advertising for one low priceKnow of a business that may be interested in promoting themselves for less than a dollar a day? Do you have a suggestion for a story or an interest in being a contributor in HillQuest’s seventh edition? Know someone who may need a part or full time job to earn some extra money over the next couple of months? The next edition of HillQuest, an Urban Guide to 92103+ will be the best book ever. Many of the top spots in the upcoming guide have been reserved, but we’re in the process of building HQ7 and welcome involvement in this great community publication. Businesses have until March 31st to place an ad, but since advertisers are welcome to choose their positions in the book...the earlier the purchase is made, the more options available. Also, each new advertiser will immediately be posted to this website’s dining, services, community churches, lodging or shopping pages. There is no better advertising value in all of San Diego! |

“It looks like urban planning on steroids…I’d rather bring my own rug and sit in the dirt…It looks like Fashion Valley…The
formality of the site is at odds with the spirit of the
neighborhood...It looks too much like a monument, not a park.” — Tuesday evening comments from
the Uptown Planners W. Lewis Street Mini Park

“It is outrageous that in the middle of a
budget crisis and talk about various tax increases, the City of San
Diego has increased salaries for city workers — so much so that the
number of people earning $100,000 or more has jumped by 44% in the past
year alone.” — City Councilman Carl DeMaio re:
city workers’ soaring six figure salaries

“We’re in the worst downturn since the
Depression, and the free fall has no bottom in sight, and they’re off
building pyramids. There’s no reason that we need that new operations
center to start with. We
certainly don’t need to start on it now.” — Richard Rider of San Diego Tax
Fighters re: SD County’s $.5 billion overhaul of its operations center
