Hey, Jude! Here’s a reminder of Jabba and his entertaining antics at Hippo Beach. Enjoy the rest of your San Diego vacation. Thank you so much for taking the time. Friends in my department are already pointing out the similarities. Cheers. |

HillQuest publisher and proud
Gramma Nancy holds Zachary following his baptism in Oceanside on Sunday. Be on the lookout for Nancy and Ann this week as they hit the streets with earlybird rates for volume 2 of the popular guidebook for the neighborhood. The annual almanac will again be published in the spring. |

Don’t be a fishThe posted limit is 30mph
“Just like shooting fish in a barrel,” was how this officer described writing speeding citations on Fourth Avenue (referred to as the “Fourth Avenue Freeway” by the SDPD). Watch your speed when heading south on Fourth (or north on Fifth) Avenue in the Bankers Hill area of Park West. Many pedestrians cross these busy streets. Don’t make it more dangerous for us! Please slow down and enjoy our neighborhoods. |

Mark) is in the Bay Area and (hopefully) heading south soon. His SF halloween
oufit didn’t show much skin...but he was cold!
Wanna see more? Try Little Beach next time you’re on Maui. |

The Columbia Journalism Review has awarded one of its infamous darts to the Union-Tribune for its effusive treatment of Billy Graham’s May appearance at Qualcomm Stadium. U-T coverage included “an adoring, eight-page special section (heralded on page one),” said CJR. “In all, from its first report about the newsworthy revival (December 28) to the final wrap-up on its great success (May 15), the Union-Tribune blessed Billy Graham’s mission with an awesome 61 photos and at least 24,500 words.” |
