Looking for that perfect last minute holiday gift?

Hurry to Hillcrest for a wide selection of unique presents that will be sure to please. Bentley (left) will be happy to help you choose something special at Artventures, 3840 Fifth Avenue. Or how about a book? Nowhere in San Diego are the reading choices so diverse...Bountiful books will fill your Bluestockings at these three great shops along Fifth Avenue (between Robinson and University). Also in the same block, newcomer OUTmall offers quality, trendy gifts and jewelery for that special LGBT person in your life! American Apparel (at the former location of Circa A.D. on Fourth) has colorful casual wear for those young at heart. All done? Then enjoy window shopping at Wear it Again Sam or Flashbacks — gently used clothing never looked this good!! When your puppies are tired, stop by David’s Coffeehouse for a sweet treat and a cup ’o joe.

Would you like to reduce the amount of taxes you pay? Of course!

San Diego Business Advisors have expanded their Hillcrest offices to Mission Valley, but their phone number remains the same. Make an appointment now by calling (619) 294-4286 and have Steven (seated), Shawn or Carey help with your next tax return.

Did you know that all of Santa’s reindeer are female? Yup, even Rudolph. The Alaska Department of Fish and Game say male and female reindeer grow antlers each summer, but males drop their antlers at the beginning of winter, usually late November to mid-December. The females keep their antlers until after they give birth in the spring. Makes sense. Only women would be able to drag a fat man in a red velvet suit around the world in one night and not get lost!

Put your money where your house is...
for every $100 in consumer spending at a local business, $73 remains in the local  economy. For every $100 a consumer spends with a national chain, only $43 stays in the local economy.
