Deja Vu All Over Again?!?!?

Thanks to GSDBA volunteers
Danny Becht & Christopher James who spotted the
first signs of smoke...

Keep politics out of public safety issues (by City Attorney Mike Aguirre)
Every few years, someone who wants to make a political splash proposes handing over to the D.A.’s office the city’s charter-mandated authority to prosecute misdemeanors that occur within San Diego. It’s going to be a long, hot summer. The city is in horrible turmoil anyway. San Diego is going to become national news. And the second paragraph of every story is going to say, ‘And besides this, they’ve lost their credit rating, they can’t borrow money, they’re on the verge of bankruptcy.’”

SD EarthFair dancers May 1, 2005Jesus

Over 60 thousand folks shared a beautiful Sunday in Balboa Park as they celebrated, danced and shared information at this year’s EarthFair. Religous zealots were there, too,
with their oversized photos of dismembered fetuses and reminders that if we don’t have Jesus
, we’re going straight to hell!
