Bankers Hill residents’ meeting Wednesday

Bankers Hill/Park West Community Association will have a special meeting this evening (3/18) at 6pm in St. Paul’s Manor conference room, Third Avenue & Maple Street. The entrance is on the west side through a gate off the parking lot. The meeting will focus on (1) streetscape issues along the north section of the Fourth/Fifth/ Sixth avenue corridor. (2) A substantial portion of new development in Uptown has taken place in Bankers Hill. Unfortunately, the developer impact fees (“DIF”) are used in other areas. Likewise, Bankers Hill generates a significant amount of parking meter revenue — yet very little of it has been used for projects in Bankers Hill. (3) Discussion of the serious traffic accidents that have happened recently along Fifth and Sixth avenues.
