Yesterday’s crowd for the Hillcrest street fair (estimated at 125,000) enjoyed 250 vendor booths that lined Fifth Avenue from 10am-7pm. Entertainers on the main stage included Sue Palmer & her Motel Swing Orchestra, D.A. & the Hitmen, Trece De La Suerte and the one and only Candye Kane. Next year marks CityFest’s silver anniversary.
