Out with the old, in with the new…
Mayfair Homes will be constructing new condos on these three lots along Fifth Avenue between Spruce and Thorn. The house in the foreground was the original home of Christie’s Place, a support service for women, children and families dealing with HIV and AIDS which is now located at 2440 Third Avenue. The middle property was the former home of the San Diego Center for the Moving Arts which has now relocated to North Park’s Sunset Ballroom adjacent to Claire de Lune. The third lot was most recently the home to Asian furnishings. Seen in the background are the old FBI building (now condos) and the Park Manor Hotel.
