Hillcrest was pink yesterday as the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer 3-Day Walk wound through the neighborhood on the way to Balboa Park (via Del Mar, La Jolla, Pacific Beach, Mission Beach, Ocean Beach, Point Loma, Old Town, Downtown Gaslamp and Mission Hills). Each participant raised at least $2,100 to benefit the foundation’s research, education, screening and treatment.
