Our First 100 Years

Celebrate throughout 2007 with Hillcrest’s Centennial events! Mark your calendar for a Sock Hop on Friday, March 30th at Joyce Beers Community Center, a slice of 100th birthday cake on Thursday, August 2nd at Fifth & University and a neighborhood social that evening, Hillcrest Restaurant Week from Tues, Sept 4th–Sun, Sept 9th, a gala dinner banquet on Thursday, October 4th at The Prado Restaurant in Balboa Park, a 6-day Mexican cruise from Oct 19th–Oct 25th. Other plans are underway including: historical forums, a scavenger hunt and more. Please become involved in the community history and fun!
