Sixth Avenue will now remain closed through September

It will now be at least October before this section of Sixth Avenue from Pennsylvania to Upas will reopen to car traffic as the city replaces a sewer. Neighbors who live along the busy thoroughfare are enjoying the solitude, even throwing street parties on the empty asphalt. Seems like a good time to work on the Mi Arbolito corner and give it back to the community.
