Booths filled Fifth Avenue at the 16th annual SD Open Air Book Fair. Several authors lectured and signed their books for appreciative fans. Highlighting the afternoon was Chalmers Johnson and his newest work, “The Sorrow of Empire: Militarism, Secrecy, and the End of the Republic.”
