This 1930s aerial view of eastern Mission Hills and western Hillcrest shows an empty Mission Valley across the top and a curving Curlew Street in the bottom right corner. SD County Hospital is at upper right and the only east/west street crossing the photograph is Washington.

Note the north/south streets of Hawk, Goldfinch, Falcon, Eagle, Dove and Front (which is at far right of the photo).
