The Cabrillo Bridge (aka as El Prado St. on this sign) has been closed to vehicular traffic this week as inspections take place at the Tower of Man (in the background).

one of four permanent structures (including the California Quadrangle, the Botanical Building and the Spreckels Organ Pavilion) that were to outlive the 1915 Exposition and provide service for “as long as eyes can see and rivers run.”
Remember the fire last June 17th?

The Quince Street pedestrian bridge turns 100 this year.
Should we celebrate with balloons and cake?
