San Diego candlelight vigilThe names of the Iraq war dead were read aloud Wednesday night in downtown San Diego. People took turns, their voices choked at times. It took more than a hour just to get to those names beginning with H. Protest vigils were held across the country. Antiwar activist (and grieving mom) Cindy Sheehan was one of 26 mourners arrested for laying on the sidewalk outside the Bush White House at a “die-in.”
