SOHO’s second annual May Day held Saturday at the George and Anna Marston home near the northwest corner of Balboa Park was the perfect way to spend the day at this beautiful museum and gardens filled with art, music and flowers.
Fashion designer Alexander Luque unveiled ten unusual dress designs made entirely of paper. Created on site at the Marston family’s former home, Luque’s paper doll creations were modeled throughout the day. Proceeds from the event will benefit restoration of the historic gardens.
