According to our president…Iraq has been a “catastrophic success.

A roaring river of half a million demonstrators surged through the canyons of Manhattan Sunday
on the eve of the Republican National Convention in the city’s largest political protest in decades.

Former president Bill Clinton, quoting scripture from a church pulpit, sought to frame the 2004 election in
moral terms said President Bush’s Christianity doesn’t keep him from seeing things “through a glass darkly.”

Michael Moore, the director of Fahrenheit 9/11, told fellow protesters that “the majority never voted for the
Bush administration, and the majority are here to say, ‘It’s time to have our country back in our hands.’”

San Diego has now had 135 rainless days.
