During his 24-minute speak to troops this morning on the Bonhomme Richard, Vice President Dick Cheney shared that,“We face a ruthless and determined enemy”…“We are acting to shrink the area in which the terrorists can operate freely” … “We will stay on offense and stay in the fight until the fight is won” …and he characterized the war in Iraq as “a battle for the future of civilization” … “It’s a battle worth fighting. It’s a battle we’re going to win” … “The terrorists will fail because the American military stands in their way” … but he forgot the “world peace part.”
