Bring a hat, sunscreen, good walking shoes, water and finger wipes.
Park on outskirts of Hillcrest. Walk in or jump on the shuttle. Better yet, ride your bike.
Arrive early — it’s the best chance to find easy parking and shorter lines.
Plan your route — with 30+ restaurants throughout Hillcrest, coordination is needed to squeeze in as many tastes as possible in four hours.
Taste of Uptown shuts down promptly at 3pm. Don’t expect to show up at 4:05 and find more samples. The restaurant staff is exhausted from hosting the Taste and needs to prepare for dinner.
