- Open Volleyball provides a venue for men and women of all skill levels to compete without the requirement of entering a league or having an organized team. Individuals or groups of friends are provided the opportunity to play volleyball with other interested adults. Contact balboaparkvolleyball@gmail.com. Tournaments are held several times per year with participants from all over the country coming together at the Activity Center.
- Pick up games are held on the green lawns near Sixth and Olive. This is also one of the best people-watching areas for a Sunday in the park.
