Big thanks to Gamma Rho Lambda!

Members of this San Diego State University sorority braved gray skies and a few sprinkles to help clean up the Hillcrest neighborhood on Sunday morning as one of their community service events. President Erica Silva said the group donates their efforts two-three times per semester. Hillcrester can show their appreciation next Saturday when they’ll be holding a benefit car wash in Park Boulevard Pharmacy’s parking lot (at Park & University) between noon and 4pm. Note: next Sunday (April 22) the Hillcrest Town Council is joining forces with a revived Hillcrest Clean T.E.A.M. to spruce up the neighborhood. Meet at 9:45am at the corner of Park Boulevard and University Avenue for cookies and coffee before sweeping the sidewalks and gutters until noon.
