E-waste recycling event a major success

Uptown residents brought their e-waste to Sunday afternoon’s community recycling in the AT&T parking lot on Seventh Avenue south of Robinson. The event was sponsored by Recycle San Diego, Whole Foods Market and HillQuest. Neighbors enjoyed being able to drive through the lot so it was easy to be green and drop off recyclables unfit for our landfills. Two trucks loads of computers, monitors, TVs, laptops, printers, LCDs, fax machines, scanners, toner/ink cartridges, cell phones, etc. were hauled away. Good job!
