Hillcrest Water Pipes Leak

The temporary water source pipes that the city has placed along the curbs around Hillcrest are having a few problems. Two burst open yesterday morning at connection valves. The accidents caused water geysers (and blocked streets) along Robinson Avenue near Fourth Avenue. Two SDPD motorcycle officers blocked the street while waiting for the city’s water department to remedy the situation. Water was flowing on Hillcrest streets again on Monday as other pipes had problems.
