How do Hawaiians celebrate Christmas?

Mele Kalikimaka honusMele Kalikimaka
In the Hawaiian language, Mele Kalikimaka means Merry Christmas. The song derived from the greeting was written by Robert Anderson in 1949. One of the earliest recordings of this song was by Bing Crosby with The Andrews Sisters the following year. It’s been sung by several artists including the Divine One — Bette Midler and a bunch of cute kids.
