Kous Kous now serving lunch

Kous Kous $6 lunch special — Vegetable TagineThe dish at the left, veggie tagine, is an amazingly tasty medley of roasted seasonal vegetables in a tomato paprika ginger sauce served with wheat cous cous, garnished with a mélange of honey caramelized raisins and garbanzo beans — it’s OMG good — and only $6.

Owner Moumen Nouri offers an Express Menu with appetizers, salads and soups starting at $4. All sandwiches are served on fresh house-baked Moroccan bread with a side of mixed greens salad, fresh tomatoes and kalamata olives. Everything on their lunch menu is $10 or less. Kous Kous at 3940 Fourth Avenue. Lunch is from 11am-2:30pm daily. Dinner service begins at 5pm.
