Thanks for cleaning up Hillcrest

Orange t-shirted volunteers swept trash from gay pride parade route and the surrounding area making the Hillcrest Town Council’s first fundraiser a great success. Dozens of volunteers pitched in yesterday morning to put the shine back on the neighborhood after this past weekend’s festivites. Pride is donating $10 to the Hillcrest Town Council for each volunteer hour that was invested…adding up to nearly $1,000 for the residents’ group. (The HTC’s next meeting will be Tuesday, August 12th at Joyce Beers Community Center.) A BIG THANK YOU to everyone who gave up your Monday mornings to help make a difference.
