Thanks to volunteers!

The eastern side of Hillcrest is beautiful thanks to a handful ofHillcrest Clean Team members who volunteered their Saturdays to put the shine back on the neighborhood. Hundreds of cigarette butts and assorted pieces of garbage filled black trash bags after being removed from Essex Street, Robinson Avenue and the side streets north and south of University. To learn more about this community effort, come to monthly meetings of the Hillcrest Town Council’s NIC (Neighborhood Improvement Committee).
