Hillcrest’s first Flower Power parade will take place Sunday, July 9th at 11am in the 3700 block of Seventh Avenue. No entry fee. Great prizes and neighborhood fun. At least half of your float’s decorations must be plants or flowers. Dress up a bike or little wagon. No motors, only people (or other animal) powered. One block parade route (but we may make several passes!) Held during the Hop in the ’hoodwhich will be celebrating the completion of this year’s HillQuest, an Urban Guide to 92103+ with live music and a street fair from 10am-5pm. All HillQuest fans are invited! We’re still looking for a few jugglers, street chalkers, artists & potters. Please contact us.
