$uccessful Fundraiser for the Hillcrest LGBT Youth Center

Big Mike and Justin Smith received a check from Rich’s owner Nick Moede and Rich’s GM Dylan Glocker for $8,400 for Hillcrest’s LGBT Youth Center. Other contributions were made by the Rob Benzon Foundation and the Imperial Court who both donated $500 and by Sherman Mendoza, owner of the Caliph Lounge, who added another $1,000. Justin, 22, outreached to Big Mike to help him create this fundraiser for the Youth Center. Nick Moede was so impressed by the young man’s effort that he donated Rich’s door money to the effort, then matched that amount personally. Justin proved that one person can truly change the world. The total raised was $11,100.
