A small but powerful group of Hillcrest Clean TEAM (Together Everyone Achieves More) swept along Washington Street in eastern Hillcrest Saturday morning before kicking back for lunch and complimentary cocktails at Urban Mo’s. A ton of trash, crap, furniture, dirt, gravel and more was removed from the neighborhood.
Today’s volunteer from the farthest distance was also the oldest. Joyce Louder, 70 (Susan Fosselman’s mom from La Paz) did an admirable job. Thanks to everyone for pitching in. The next neighborhood clean-up will be held Monday morning, July 19th beginning at 7am following Pride weekend.
