City/Park Streetcar Feasiblity Study
Attend a Community Open House today from 4-7pm at the Casa Del Prado in Balboa Park to learn about a MTS study started in March to explore the possiblity of reconnecting a fixed-guideway, electrified streetcar line along Park Boulevard between the zoo and City College.
Information tables will be staffed throughout the open house with brief overview presentations at 5:30 and 6:30pm. MTS project staff and consultants will provide details about topics such as: Existing Corridor Conditions; Vehicle Types — historic, replica, modern; I-5 Bridge Options; Alignment Options; and Station Locations.
