“Liquid Gold” trees now growing in Hillcrest

New trees have been planted along University Avenue (Hillcrest, San Diego, California)“Sometimes the small things need celebrating, too!” explained Hillcrest Business Association’s (HBA) executive director Ben Nicholls commenting on the 50+ trees which the group has installed over the past few months in vacant tree wells in the neighborhood. The trees were funded by a Cal Fire grant managed by the Business Improvement District (BID) Council.

The HBA will maintain these trees until they are able to survive on their own (about three years). Give ’em love!
