New pension board…same old unresolved issues: $1.37B deficit, jeopardized tax-free status, lawsuits and a request from federal investigators that the board turn over documents that hadn’t been handed over by the previous board….and our City Attorney!

“It’s time for Mayor Murphy to go. He needs to resign, and he needs to put the interests of San Diego first. He’s incapable of governing the city. He’s incapable of providing leadership out of this crisis, and he has to go. This was the final straw.”

— City Attorney Mike Aguirre
